Rule of thumb: printed width ≥ scanning distance ÷ 10. Pick the surface above and the studio sizes the code for you, then checks the printed module size against what a press can actually hold.

Their phone reads a standard iCalendar event and offers to save it. On iPhone it opens in Apple Calendar; on Android it opens in Google Calendar or whichever calendar app is set as default.
Times are stored in universal time (UTC), converted from the time you type, so the event lands at the right moment wherever it is scanned. All-day events are date-only and have no time zone at all.
