How big should it be?
Rule of thumb: printed width ≥ scanning distance ÷ 10. Pick the surface above and the studio sizes the code for you, then checks the printed module size against what a press can actually hold.

Your hosted menu — a page on your website or a PDF you have uploaded somewhere public (your site, Google Drive, Dropbox). A mobile-friendly web page usually beats a PDF, since guests do not have to pinch-zoom.
