Before you print
How big should it be?
Rule of thumb: printed width ≥ scanning distance ÷ 10. Pick the surface above and the studio sizes the code for you, then checks the printed module size against what a press can actually hold.
Questions people actually ask
Every banking and payment app in Brazil — Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, PicPay, Mercado Pago, and the rest. PIX QR support is mandatory, and this code follows the Banco Central's BR Code standard.
A code that encodes your PIX key and can be paid any number of times — ideal for printing at a counter or on an invoice. Dynamic codes, which are generated per transaction by your bank, are a separate system.
Any key registered with your bank: email, +55 phone number, CPF/CNPJ, or a random (EVP) key. A random key keeps your personal details out of the printed code.
The BR Code standard caps the name at 25 ASCII characters and the city at 15. Type accents freely — João becomes Joao automatically and the code stays valid.
The generator is free forever, no signup, and runs in your browser. Payments move directly from the payer's bank to yours through PIX — UseQR never sees or touches the money.
